How the calendar is kept
Events are read twice a day from the cities' official calendars: Visit Dubai, Visit Abu Dhabi and Visit Qatar (Riyadh Season's calendar does not answer our requests at the moment). Names, dates, venues and links are the calendars' own; the descriptions are not copied, and the sentence on each event's page is ours.
Listings that run for more than three months (passes, attractions, long exhibitions) are left out. An event the calendar drops is dropped here too. An event's page leaves the index 14 days after it ends.
Prestige events are entered by hand from the organiser's own announcement, and only once the dates are announced. Times and plans change: the official page is the final word.
