Citizen Account payment date

The Citizen Account programme pays on the 10th of each Gregorian month. Each month's deposit is listed as the programme announced it; the months still to come are worked out from its own rule.

The rule, and where it comes from

  • The support is paid on the 10th of each Gregorian month (the programme's FAQ).
  • If the 10th is a Friday, the payment is made on the Thursday; if a Saturday, on the Sunday (the programme's FAQ).
  • The royal order of 2 December 2025 extended the programme, and the extra support, until the end of 2026. No month of 2027 is listed until it is extended again.
  • A payer can move a day for a holiday, as the Ministry of Finance did in May 2026; a calculated date is replaced when the payer announces its own.

Questions

What day is the Citizen Account paid?
On the 10th of each Gregorian month. If the 10th is a Friday it is paid on the Thursday before, and if a Saturday on the Sunday after.
When is the October 2026 Citizen Account deposit?
10 October 2026 is a Saturday, so under the programme's rule the deposit falls on Sunday 11 October 2026. The programme confirms each deposit on the day.
Will the Citizen Account be paid in 2027?
The programme is extended until the end of 2026 by the royal order of 2 December 2025. Payments in 2027 depend on a further extension, which has not been announced.
